Praslin is an island in the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean. It’s known for palm-fringed beaches, like Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio, both bordered by large granite boulders. The main beach, Anse Volbert-Côte D’Or, faces the offshore islet Chauve Souris. Praslin’s rugged, jungle-covered interior is home to Praslin National Park, which encompasses Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve.
DAY 1:ARRIVAL IN SEYCHELLES
On arrival at Seychelles Airport, you will be provided with services of meet and greet and transferred by our Local representative to Inter Island Quay for your boat transfer from Mahé Island to Praslin Island. On arrival at Praslin Ferry Terminal, our driver will transfer to Berjaya Praslin Resort. The rest of the day is free to explore the resort on your Berjaya Praslin Resort – Seychelles on own. It is situated between the sea at Anse La Farine Beach and the thickly wooded hills of “Au Morne”, which cuts it off from the rest of Praslin. It faces yet another resort on a private island just offshore, Round Island and it is in full view of the world famous La Digue Island which lies less than Four miles away. Praline, with a population of 6,500 people, is Seychelles’ second largest island. It lies 45 km to the northeast of Mahé and measures 10 km by 3.7 km. A leisurely tour around the island by car will take approximately Two hours. The site of the fabulous Vallée de Mai, one of Seychelles two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The island features truly exquisite beaches such as Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, both appearing on the top – 10 lists of world’s best beaches in recent years.
DAY 2:PRASLIN
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day is free at Leisure to explore the destination or hotel facilities or you may opt from the optional activities/ day tours available. Valley de Mai Half Day Tour: Enjoy a half day tour to the Vallee de Mai and get to see a collection of endemic plants, including the legendary Coco-de-Mer palm. Enjoy an exciting tour to the Garden of Eden, devoted to the UNESCO World Heritage site of rare palms that lies amid the hidden splendour of the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, where you will have the opportunity to see a collection of endemic plants including the legendary Coco-de-Mer palm. The local folklore has it that, at sundown the male Coco-de-Mer trees join in amorous embrace with the female trees and that no human spectator ever lives to tell the tale of what follows. If you are a keen sighted visitor, you may also spot the equally rare Black Parrot, which feeds on fruits and berries in the dappled shades of the Vallee depths. Overnight at the resort.
DAY 3:PRASLIN
Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day is free at Leisure to explore the destination or hotel facilities or you may opt from the optional activities/ day tours available. Full Day Boat & Bike Independent Tour of La Digue. Explore one the world’s most photographed Islands La Digue on your own. This tour is ideal for the adventurous seeking to explore La Digue island on their own and includes return coach transfers to the hotel and Praslin Jetty, a ferry crossing at 09h00 to La Digue, where tourists are greeted by our island representative for a short briefing on the most popular sites, best routes and lunch venues, before our guide hands over a map and the bicycles for the day’s adventure. The boat trip back to Praslin departs at 16h30, the end of a perfect day – most guests with another day to spare choose to return to the magic of La Digue Island.
DAY 4:PRASLIN-MAHE
Breakfast at Hotel, day at leisure till the time for drop to Ferry Terminal to Mahe and on arrival at Mahe Ferry Terminal we transfer to Mahe International Airport to board flight back to your countr
