Day 1 : Munnar
Arrive at Cochin, you will be met by our local representative and proceed to Munnar ( 130 Kms / 4 hrs) .Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and perched 1600 mts above sea level. Sprawling tea plantations, picture- book towns, winding lanes and waterfalls, makes a unique sight for sore eyes and cure for sore minds. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 2 : Munnar
After breakfast ,visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Eravikulam National Park etc. (closed during FEB & MAR every year due to breeding period)
Day 3 : Munnar – Thekkady( 110 Kms. / 3 .5 hrs.)
After breakfast ,proceed to Thekkady. Upon arrival ,check in to the hotel. Thekkady is famous for its tea, coffee and pepper plantations. It has unending plantation gardens and one can literally smell the aroma of spices in the air. A visit to India’s best wildlife sanctuaries will give you an experience that you won’t forget for the rest of your lives. Make sure you take a cruise along the Periyar River for that mind-blowing experience.
Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey ( 145 Kms. / 3 hrs.)
After breakfast ,proceed to Alleppey . Alleppey- , the place of immense natural beauty, with its labyrinth of waterways, was extolled by travellers as the Venice of East. Check into the house boat and enjoy the cruise with all meals and overnight stay at house boat.( A/c will function 9pm to 6am only ) .
Day 5 : Alleppey – Cochin ( 90 Kms./ 2.5 hrs. )
After breakfast , check out the hotel and transfer to Cochin Airport / Railway station for your onward journey
