Day 1: Arrive Bangalore – Coorg

Arrive Bangalore – Meet our local representative and get private transfer to Coorg. Check in to the hotel. Coorg- Lush foliage, dense forests, gushing waterfalls, aromatic coffee plantations, wonderful hills and some mist hovering over all these beauties – this is what Coorg is all about. The distance between Bangalore is around 270 kms and would take approximately 5.5-6 hours to cover. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and then head out to visit a luscious and expanding coffee plantation.  Absorb in the majestic beauty of the Western Ghats, plantations & waterfalls, and be mesmerized by its numerous picturesque vistas. Have a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Coorg

Greet the morning with a bright smile, enjoying some piping hot bed-tea and cookies. Get ready for the day ahead and relish on some scrumptious breakfast spread at the hotel. Afterwards, at around 10 am, you would be picked-up for a full-day sightseeing tour in Coorg. Start the day at Dubare elephant camp & get to feel the tenderness & love of the majestic and strong elephants at this camp. There are a host of activities built around watching these gorgeous creatures- view them being given a scrub-bath in the river, along with rituals like oil being applied to their foreheads. The Mahouts or the elephant-riders there would also demonstrate you how elephants listen and follow the instructions. If you are in a mood to get all personal with these cute creatures, go for a 15 minutes ride with them into the Dubare Reserve Forest.

Day 3: Coorg

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing by covering some of interesting places such as Sri Omkareshwara Temple built in 1741 by the King Lingarajendra II, for exculpation against Brahma Hatya. Built in the Mughal style, this temple involves Indo Islamic and Gothic architecture. There are not many Shiva temples in India that share similar architectural style. Also, Shivalingas that go by the name of Omkareshwara, are also a rarity in India. The temple’s sanctum sanctorum and its entrance is not smaller as one Would find in most temples across India. The temple in general occupies a vast and wide area. The Madikeri Fort has an intriguing historical past. It was initially built of mud, and later replaced to the present structure by Tipu Sultan. The grand monument houses an Anglican church, a temple, a prison and a museum. Offering a panoramic views of the city, the entrance of the fort is adorned by two fascinating mortar elephants. The fort also holds remnants of the erstwhile British era, including a vintage clock tower. Sunsets viewed from the fort are simply magical. Raja’s Seat or the Seat of the King is a famous sunset point in Madikeri. It was once the platform from which the kings of Kodagu used to enjoy glorious sunsets. The spot got its name as it was the favorite recreational place for the kings. Raja’s seat stands inside a splendid garden of seasonal flowers and musical fountains. The garden becomes a colorful sight when the flowering plants are in full bloom. Today it is a famous destination of Madikeri that is visited by tourists throughout the year. Abbey falls is one of the most amazing attractions in the Coorg. . The picturesque view of the fall will surely take your breath away and also provide you with quite a few Kodak moments. The waterfall comes down from a height of 70 feet and provides a superb vista. You will also find a hanging bridge across the gorge from which an exceptional view of this waterfall is a sight to remember. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Coorg- Ooty

After a having some hot bed-tea, cookies and a sumptuous breakfast in Coorg and completing all the check-out formalities, you would proceed for Ooty in a private vehicle, at around 9 am. The distance between Coorg and Ooty is 225 km and it takes approximately 5-5.5 hours to cover this distance. Upon your arrival and check-in at the hotel, you would be welcomed to a beautiful room decorated using flowers. Spend some moments relaxing in the room and have rest of the evening at leisure. Once the summer capital of the Madras Presidency, this dreamy hill station boosts off a variety of flora and fauna. There are many colonial buildings here, whose refined and quintessential architecture tells many stories of the old times. This evening, absorb all of this and retreat to the hotel for a delectable dinner meal and a comfortable & cosy overnight stay.

Day 5: Ooty

Welcome the morning sun with warmth & love, enjoying some hot bed-tea and delicious cookies. After a hearty breakfast, at around 10 am, you would be picked-up for a full-day sightseeing tour in Ooty. The journey would begin with a visit to the Doddabetta Peak, one of the highest peaks of the Nilgiri mountain range. The Telescope House at the peak offers an enchanting view of the hilly slopes and the rising Chamundi Hills. Spend some tranquil moments with your partner here, feasting your eyes upon the many enchanting views of Ooty. Moving towards the Botanical gardens after this, you would be mesmerized by the kinds of plants and trees here. There are about a thousand species of both exotic and indigenous plants, shrubs, ferns, trees, herbal and also bonsai plants.

Day 6 : Ooty

Spend this Ooty morning in your cosy bed, relishing on some delicious cookies, and piping hot bed-tea. After this, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast spread at the hotel, and around 9 am, you would be driven to the railway station to enjoy a Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train ride. The journey from Ooty to Coonoor is a picturesque feast because of the surrounding rocky terrains, ravines, tea plantations, and forested hills. After the train journey, you would visit the Sim’s Park, a natural garden bearing colourful flowers beds, lawns and rockeries. Enjoy a mesmerizing rendezvous with your partner and nature here, viewing economic trees like Bead and Cinnamomum, the evergreen and aromatic shrubs. There is also an island garden here, surrounded by a stream and pond and on the other side is a rose garden, where more than 300 varieties of roses are maintained.  Moving ahead, visit the Dolphin Nose – a huge rock located about 10 km away from Coonoor that resembles a dolphin’s nose. Have lunch(Direct payment) post which you will be driven to your hotel in Ooty and enjoy a relaxing Ayurvedic Massage – lasting for 45 minutes. This deeply relaxing holistic treatment would help you rebalance your body, mind and spirit effectively. Thereafter, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel and retreat to your room for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7:  Ooty

After some hot bed-tea, cookies and a sumptuous breakfast spread, you would check-out from your hotel and get transferred to the Coimbatore airport (approximately 3 hours’ drive), on a private vehicle to board your return flight.
